The Story
This is the journey people imagine when they close their eyes and think of Morocco — but told quietly, without the crowds and without the rush.
We leave Marrakech through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, sleep in a kasbah above an oasis, and arrive at the dunes in the golden hour, when the sand turns to silk.
Day by Day
01Arrival in Marrakech — first light in the medina+
Private transfer to your riad hidden in the old town. An unhurried evening: mint tea on the roof terrace, dinner among candlelit arches.
02Marrakech, slowly+
Morning in the Secret Garden and the souks with a storyteller-guide; afternoon at leisure — hammam, or simply the rooftop and a book.
03Over the High Atlas — Tizi n'Tichka & Aït Ben Haddou+
The road climbs through Berber villages to 2,260 m, then drops to the mud-brick citadel of Aït Ben Haddou at golden hour.
04The Route of a Thousand Kasbahs+
Roses of the Dadès Valley, palm groves, and the Todra Gorge — canyon walls glowing pink at dusk.
05Into the dunes — sunset by camel, dinner under the stars+
The tarmac ends. Camels (or 4×4, your choice) carry you into Erg Chebbi to a private luxury camp. Drums by the fire, then a silence you can hear.
06Sunrise on the dunes — the long beautiful road back+
Dawn from the crest of a dune, breakfast at camp, then the cinematic Draa Valley route towards Ouarzazate.
07Return to Marrakech — one last golden evening+
Back over the pass by early afternoon. A farewell dinner on a panoramic rooftop as the Koutoubia glows.
08Departure — ma'a salama+
Private transfer to Marrakech Menara airport.
